Vivoactive 3 > Garmin Connect > no longer syncs to Garmin Golf iOS

I have a similar issue. My Vivoactive 3 saves the round to the device, and Garmin Connect detects that I have an "activity" that captures the physical distance that I walked, but Garmin Connect does not detect that I have a round of golf scores to save to the Garmin Golf app.

My current workaround is to plug my Vivoactive 3 directly to my MacBook and sync via Garmin Express. Once I do that, Garmin Golf syncs to Garmin Express and I can see my scores in my iOS app. However, I would prefer to have Garmin Connect sync to Garmin Golf, which it used to do (until the ransomware attack at the end of July 2020).

Any ideas? Any support from Garmin on this issue?

    It is positive news that your scorecard is still saving to your Vivoactive 3 and syncing through Garmin Express. The Connect Mobile APP may be seeing an older corrupt file and that is preventing the sync. Often, Garmin Express will let you know if there is a bad file but only if you haven't already synced it.

    Try the following:

    - Remove your watch from both the Connect Mobile APP and Golf APP. Remove it from your iPhone using Forget this Device in your Settings > Bluetooth menu.

    - Ensure both APPS are fully updated by double checking your Apple APP store.

    - Bluetooth pair your Vivoactive 3 through the Connect APP and then the Golf APP

    If you continue to have issues, please reach out to product support. Instead of going to Fitness Vivo Product Support, select to go to Golf Product Support.

    Hi Chris,

    I've resolved the issue by performing a reset to defaults on my Vivoactive 3. Sure enough, my round of golf will now sync to Garmin Golf via the Garmin Connect application.
