Why do my rounds appear in weekly leaderboard despite privacy settings?

Dear Garmin and other users

I have my golf app privacy settings set to "only me" and "do not share / show" performance on ranking lists. Still I appear on the weekly golf leaderboard for every course I play. There is a cross in the upper right corner (on the garmin connect website) but when I try to discard a weekly leaderboard event a dialogue screen pops up saying it cannot be done due to "technical reasons".

I would be happy if someone could shed some light one these three questions

1. Will it always be like this no matter settings? I was under the impression one hade to be invited or invite others to a leaderboard.

2. If yes, is it only me who can see my position on the weekly leaderboard?

3. If yes, how come I see a lot of other players on the leaderboard for comparison if they cannot see me?

I would prefer all my stats to be private, be it running or playing golf.

I apologize for missing this post. Please confirm the following in your Golf APP. Go to Settings > Profile & Privacy > under Privacy, Share Scorecard. What shows in that specific field please? Thank you!

It reads "not now".

To be more specific. Once I finish a round and look at leaderboard it shows a list of some 8 or 10 players (don't remember the actual count now) and my name is present in that list. I can see the names and the score of the other players. Prior my name it reads "NA" in capital letters. In the upper right corner there is a x that is clickable but once clicked it says this cannot be done due to technical reasons". Once a week has passed the list is automatically removed.

Answering your questions that you asked:

1. Will it always be like this no matter settings? I was under the impression one had to be invited or invite others to a leaderboard. -- You should always see yourself on the leaderboard but with a "NR" to the left of your ranking on the leaderboard with the other golfers.

2. If yes, is it only me who can see my position on the weekly leaderboard? -- Yes. Only you can see your position.

3. If yes, how come I see a lot of other players on the leaderboard for comparison if they cannot see me? -- You will see where you are at that course for personal challenge and goal setting purposes only.

Is this resolved. I am having the same problem. I don’t want my name to appear on the leaderboard at all. Please help.

I don't understand your issue. As Garmin - Chris stated, nobody can see you on the leaderboard...

Is your problem that you can see yourself?

The point is that they cannot see you.
