There is a problem with mapshare.

Question

The map on the explore.garmin.com shows my correct location. Mapshare shows a location that is more than a year old. Any attempt to locate fails. How do I fix this?

The user location will move on the Garmin Explore website map if a message with location is sent. If a MapShare page is enabled on the account, MapShare must be selected as a contact when sending the location message for the user location to update on the MapShare page. For the current location on MapShare to change, one of the following must occur: 
 
 a message (including location) must be sent from the inReach device with MapShare included as a recipient 
 a tracking point must be sent from the inReach device 
 if you have enabled the ability for MapShare viewers to request the device location, a location request must be initiated from the MapShare page, reach the inReach device (which means it must be powered on and have a clear view of the sky), and return a result of the location request to the MapShare page (see Sending Messages, Locations, and Location Requests for MapShare Visitors )

There is a problem with mapshare.
