Instinct solar surf will not pair with explore app.

New watch has never paired.  Always get “Pairing failed an error occurred” message.  I have the latest firmware in the watch and the latest app.  It connects and syncs fine to the Connect app. I followed the troubleshooting on the explore app itself.  I have uninstalled reinstalled both apps, simultaneously and one at a time.  I have restarted the phone, reset the watch, removed from Bluetooth and basically started from scratch. Previous instinct solar worked fine with explore.

  • Neither my Fenix 6s Pro ever synced properly. Tried all suggested workarounds, none worked.

    In the end I just uninstalled the app: I just sync my routes via Garmin Connect. Routes are created in a proper, dedicated outdoor app (Outdooractive in my case).
