All these issues that keep occurring is getting pretty frustrating.

I am by no means an expert but the following maybe a fix for MAC users.

Go to "keychain access" and look for something like the following:

    com.garmin.cartography.

Delete any and all of these items and try your various web browsers to see if the problem has stopped. So, far so good for me [a few hours anyway] but then again, I am no expert. Good luck

    UPDATE

This seemed that this "fix" worked for a short while but, alas the problem returned once again. Not sure if there was any correlation between the time the site working well for me and this specific action.

    Apologies for the false lead.

Because the website magically starts working again after a seemingly random time, and then randomly stops working, it plays with your mind a bit.

Did you try the TOR browser? https://www.torproject.org/download/download-easy.html.en

EDIT: Nevermind. TOR is too slow when compounded with Garmin Connect's inherent slowness. Sigh.

This is great research, thank you. Now the main question remains - how do we get GARMIN to realize this and fix the problem? My access has basically become useless over the last two days but every once in a while it magically appears to be "normal." Again, I find it odd that this situation also effects the Garmin Status Site - somewhat ironic.

I also have been experiencing the same issue. I was able to actually get a case number on 4-1-15. I emailed for a status update on 4-16-15, got the "canned" response: our engineers are working to resolve. I am tempted to email weekly, if not daily, for a status update. Squeaky wheel gets the grease.

In the meantime, I created an account on Pioneer's Cylco-Sphere: https://cyclo-sphere.com/. You have to manually upload the activity from your device, but, it works everytime. Amazing.

Also, some earlier comments were made that this issue is only affecting a "few" people. There are at least a half dozen more threads pertaining to the exact problem. That's more than a "few" people.
  • In context though there are millions using Express according to Garmin ... so the handful here having issues is a 'few', albeit I accept for those few it will be very annoying.

Thanks for the update. I too called Garmin today and I was assured that the engineering department had my case number and they were working on the problem. Of course they had no time frame for a solution. Is this anyway to run a web site?

Yes, but consider the following, I was on a group ride this weekend and out of twenty riders, four had Garmin units but didn't use Garmin Connect since they all found it, to one degree or another, unreliable. Counting myself that would be [in this small sample] 5 out of 21 users whom I am sure Garmin counts in their "millions," since we are all registered users, but who have real complaints. I hate to have to keep repeating this, but this is not a good situation.
