there were never any problems with the old format, now it seems like there's a problem every time I try to upload or get on connect...
why was it changed?
I suspect to modernise it, hence the new name. It's gone the Windows 8 route ...
Having said that much of the 'behind the scenes' is the same and once you're used to it it works perfectly well. There is some info here for new users:
