Connect does not update yesterdays data

I use Forerunner 15 (2.40), Garmin Express 3.2.29.0 (recently updated), and Garmin Connect (Firefox) on Windows 7.

Since Saturday (I think) when Forerunner updated its software via express, it does not report yesterdays results
with sync to connect.
The info on Forerunner is still there though. Have not had this problem before.

Whats going on? Bug in the software? Some mistake in my setup somewhere? Any workarounds?
  • @mapmom - Looking at the Garmin express forum, 4.0.x seems to be causing problems not only with sports watches, but also with things like car GPS systems (GE is used to update them too, and that's why the GE forum isn't under "into sports" but is a top-level forum here). 4.0 in part, probably came out to support the new devices that are beginning to ship (vivofit2, Fenix3, vivoactive,etc), so they can't really back out 4.0, but they have a bunch of things to fix for a number of different devices.

    Any news on how to fix this issue? I am considering quitting Garmin for this bug...

    I have the same issue. My watch syncs with my phone and with my laptop but yesterday's data doesn't appear, although it's recorded in my watch.

  • Does it mean that the data you synced yesterday disappeared from your GC account today, or that you did not sync yesterday at all? What data exactly? A frequent reason for this kind of problems is addressed in the document Data is Missing from My Garmin Account After Syncing
