Connect does not update yesterdays data

I use Forerunner 15 (2.40), Garmin Express 3.2.29.0 (recently updated), and Garmin Connect (Firefox) on Windows 7.

Since Saturday (I think) when Forerunner updated its software via express, it does not report yesterdays results
with sync to connect.
The info on Forerunner is still there though. Have not had this problem before.

Whats going on? Bug in the software? Some mistake in my setup somewhere? Any workarounds?

    This problem seems to keep going from bad to worse... Gamin said that they have engineers working on it but offered no timeline for resolving it. They suggested syncing every day to prevent data loss but that is very inconvenient.

    Hi, just doing a public service here. Looks like this has been resolved by the newly-released Software Version 2.50.00. Kindly refer to my post in another thread via this link. Check it out.

    I am having other issues now with this new update. My prior day's data will now appear (yea!), however now the current day's data does not. I'm continuing to work with Garmin on this issue.

    The software on my watch upgraded to 2.50 last night and the sync time shortened from about 45 seconds to just a few. So I have hope that the problem is resolved. Will let ya know in a few days...

    I got errors on the update and the sync. Gone from bad to worse. I am thinking that GE and GC dont like Macs.

    I believe the problem is resolved for me. The upload is working as it's supposed to.

    You could be right about that but only related to FR15. My wife has a more advanced Garmin watch and she never had a problem with uploading data through her Macbook.

    75 minutes on the phone w/ support ended with them saying my software has a 'glitch' and will go into a file with others with the same 'glitch'. They will email me, admittedly had no idea when--, when the glitch has been fixed. Instructed to use my phone.

    Along with this however, is I updated Garmin Express to 4.0 a few days back. With 4.0, I get "sync failures" (when the data seems to actually be synced!), and am also told that there is an update available for the FR15 each time I sync (when there is not!). With GE 4.0.2, I got the same errors, but it seemed that the data didn't actually sync.

    I put GE 3.2.29 back on my desktop PC, and it works fine, but I also installed 4.0.5 on my laptop so I could keep an eye on this. The 4.0.5 exhibits the same problem on my laptop as it did on my desktop machine, and 3.2.29 consistently works.

    My FR is running 2.50 FW, and both PC's windows 8.1.

    I've posted about this in the GE (for PC) forum, where a garmin person posts, but no sign of a fix as of today.

    Jim, I've had the exact same issues you mention here. My laptop is running Windows 8.1 & my FR15 is running 2.50, which seems to work fine but the Express interface with Connect seemed to be the real issue, so I rolled back to GExpress 3.2.29 also and all the syncing problems went away. Also I got that sync button back, which I really liked. Not having the sync button in 4.0.5.0, coupled with constant sync failures, was about to drive me crazy. I kept having to eject the FR15 drive, then unplug it, then plug it back in. Seriously, I have more important things to do than keep fiddling around with my FR15. ******Hear that Garmin??? Please stop releasing buggy updates.*******
