Can't upload data from my vivofit

For several weeks now, I haven't been able to upload data from my vivofit to connect. When I try it with the iPhone app, it seems to be connecting to the phone. It says "Synching with Vivofit" for about 2 seconds and then flashes green to indicate it does, but it doesn't actually transfer any data. When I try to use Garmin Express on my Mac, I get to the point of adding a new device, but then it tells me that it can't connect to the servers when I try to connect the device to my existing account.

For weeks, when I have been visiting the Connect website, I have seen a message at the top of the screen saying there were server problems, so I was patiently waiting for them to be resolved. Now the message is gone, and I still can't get the data to transfer and upload. Is Connect still having problems? If so, is there any resolution in sight? This seems like a lot of downtime! Or is there something wrong with both my Garmin Express and iPhone App.
  • There is definitely something wrong at your end. Are your express and app the latest versions?

    I'm also having the same issues & I have the latest updates. Very frustrating:(

    anyone figure it out yet. I am having the same problem.
  • Did it ever work for you? Did you change/uninstall/reinstall anything when Garmin was having server issues a couple weeks back? Does it fail with the Mobile app yet work with a desktop running Express? Have you looked at the sync log in the mobile app? What does Express say when you sync?

    Yes it worked until last night. There was the update to 3.0 for express and was having problems updating it. Then this morning it updated with no problem. My steps are stuck at 51 on my iPhone 6 and on my vivosmart it is 277. It also did not record my sleep last night. I deleted the device and re-added it. I am seeing today on my IOS a couple times during syncing it said network error.

    Still happening. How do I reset everything and start over, which I don't want to do.

    I'm having the same issue with my vivofit. It had issues syncing with MFP on Jan 4th, but that was it. Two days ago, it started having the same issues as listed above. This is extremely frustrating for a new user. This is not on my end because it says the software is up to date. I believe there are still issues on Garmin's end!
