Garmin Connect - Is this product EVER going to function correctly?

I've been patient for days waiting for this product to work properly. I'm beginning to think it will never perform. I'm on a weight loss journey and this is becoming hugely discouraging. I'm preparing to pack it up and return it for a refund.
  • Agreed - although it's far from perfect not everyone is seeing problems. I sync an FR610 either using my ANT stick in an Android phone which then exports to connect and syncs with Strava or I use an ANT stick in my Windows 7 (64bit) PC - two different ANT sticks and 1 Watch - this generally works well I've had no problems syncing the past few weeks and my Activities upload usually within a minute or so of starting the PC
  • I have a forerunner 310XT with a MacBook Pro and have not been able to upload/sync anything since January 6th.

    Call Garmin Support for help.

It's been working fine for me all the time you cite except for a few hours on Jan 14th. Forerunner 610 and 920xt, Macbook Air, Mac mini, GC app on iphone, etc. have all been just fine.

I have a forerunner 15 since Christmas 2014. I am very happy with the device and as far as I can tell it works very well. However Garmin connect is not working for me sofar:
    - Half of the time syncing the device is not working as garmin express doesn't load or can't find the device (my pc can, so it sure is not the forerunner)
    - As I am training for a long time already I had hoped to use all the data I have in Endomondo or Runkeeper, but there is no easy interaction possible?

    My conclusion sofar:
    - I am tempted to leave Garmin connect and uninstall Garmin express eventhough I like the dashboard and functions itself
    - better of going back to endomondo as it has an option to directly downloa from my garmin forerunner as wel!
