Having an issue creating a new manual activity or editing an existing activity...

I did an indoor cycling workout on a Forerunner 220 and I want to edit the distance data that was recorded. I would like to either create a new manual activity, or edit the distance data for the activity that was already uploaded to Connect. Unfortunately, attempts to do either have lead to "Time out" requests both yesterday and, so far, today.

Can someone please explain?

I was having 'Garmin Server' issues yesterday-- would that have anything to do with these requests?

I have found that you can do a manual upload of an activity from the Activities pane in the dashboard when an attempt to use the +Manual Activity link in the main Activities window hangs (spinning disc). Just click on the + icon in the Activities pane.

I haven't found a work round for editing activities which seems to have failed again after a couple of days working properly.

Yeah that works, but I guess I'm holding out for editing to work. It's really the best for what I'm trying to do.

Editing does not work for a few days now. In browser console you can see:

XMLHttpRequest cannot load https://sso.garmin.com/sso/login?service=http%3A%2F%2Fconnect.garmin.com%2F…mon_en.properties%3Fbust%3D14.11.3.0&webhost=olaxpw-connect29&gateway=true. No 'Access-Control-Allow-Origin' header is present on the requested resource. Origin 'http://connect.garmin.com' is therefore not allowed access.

So Garmin has to fix it.

I'm having the same issue. I can't add manual activities - from anywhere. I've been having his difficulty for 3 days now. I love the site, but this is starting to get a bit annoying

I have the some problem with editing the activities.

If you go to the old version of connect then you can still add activities from there for the time being. Hope this helps.

I am editing my activities for now in the classic view on my PC that still works. You get there from the last icon in the action menu on the left.

Not all fields are editable in the classic. My GCM has screwed time info (moving time, elapsed time) and that I can edit only in the modern.
