Activity Upload Issues!

Having big issues trying to upload activities tonight, have a FR620 trying to synk via wifi does not work, sync via Express does not work either.

Then tried to manual upload of the fit files but no luck via connect homepage, but the upload just hangs or throws an error.

Anyone else with these issues right now? File attached

    Same. Nothing will upload. I get this message:

    "There was a problem communicating with the Garmin servers. Please try again later."

    Glad to see it's not just me, sounds like a Garmin-side problem. I'll try again later.

    I try to change my alarm on my vivosmart by Garmin Network connect on my iPhone and it's impossible because "impossible to synchronisation- Error server"
    I hope tomorrow it will be ok.

    Ditto. I uploaded a bike ride yesterday without a problem. Today's run hangs after the bar gets about 1/3 of the way across, then I get the error message: "There was an error synching with Garmin Connect." Bugger.
  • Garmin Connect was down the last few hours. Probably due to holiday load on the servers and insufficient server capacity provisioning. It's just starting to come back to life but quite unpredictable. I can't sync.

    The good news is your data is stored locally on your PC or Mac, whether it was downloaded by ANT or by USB. You can find a guide here:

    There is a Garmin support article somewhere that has the folder locations (Google it), but is missing the folder location info for legacy USB devices.

    I'm also getting ERROR on all of my items to be synced. I have a Forerunner 15. I'm not sure of how this is supposed to work, I've only had it a few days, so I'm hoping it's a problem on Garmin's end and not mine. Any suggestions? It won't upload anything - just keeps saying "ERROR". Thank you.

    Throwing in my corroborative $0.02, too. I use a Forerunner 220 (connects via USB), which usually transfers and uploads blazingly fast; today, however, it keeps failing to upload, with a rotating series of reasons (i.e., "Server Error", "Gateway Time-out") for the failure (when you click the eventual "X Failed" status link). Screenshot of the latest failure attached — this is what I see when I click "Failed" for what should be the "1/4/2015" line-item.

    I'm having trouble uploading activities. i unpaired the device then repaired and ti's still not working.

    Garmin, can you setup a page for server status so we don't have to wonder if the problem is on this end or yours? This server sync issue happened often enough and I'm sure you are planning to fix it soon so such page won't be necessary etc., but it's happening often enough already so put one up. Please...
