Edit Multisport activities

Hi,

I tried the search function but could not find anything to resolve my problem..

I have done a triathlon on the weekend and uploaded it to Garmin Connect. I really like that it now shows u as a single event and not as 5 individual activities as before (swim, bike, run and 2 transitions).

My problem is however that I cannot edit the workout. Like so many times I forgot to press lap after the triathlon and now my total time is way too long. I tried to use the edit function and just change the time (how I can do it with normal activities) but my changes are not being saved.

I am not sure if that's a bug, was done by intention or I simply make a mistake but does anyone have a solution on this?

Any help is really welcome!

Thanks

  • Hi,

I have seen you are quite the master of Multiposrt activities.

I have a 620, and while I am waiting for the 920xt to be available in my country, I have gone ahead and did my first triathlon.

Do you know if there is any (easy) way I can modify the FIT file to make it Multisport?

    Thanks,
    Fabian.

    Hello Fabian,

Converting a single session file to a Multisport is not easy but can be done with the Fit File Repair Tool.

You have to cut the single session track into separate pieces and saved as single tracks then re-combine them into a Multisport. Tedious but certainly doable.

    Hello Beppe,

Mike must have missed this one so I will fix it.

    Thanks Datezz,

Do you know if there is a way to get the license for Fit File Rapair Tool to use it only a few (one?) time?

    Thanks,
    Fabian.

    Hello Fabian,

No....but I will make a Multisport for you 1 time (maybe 2) so you can see the power of this great software and then you might decide that it is worth a few bucks to have complete control over all your data.

I need the times where each session changes and what the session is, running, transition, swimming, etc.

I need the original FIT file from your device.
