Edit Multisport activities

Hi,

I tried the search function but could not find anything to resolve my problem..

I have done a triathlon on the weekend and uploaded it to Garmin Connect. I really like that it now shows u as a single event and not as 5 individual activities as before (swim, bike, run and 2 transitions).

My problem is however that I cannot edit the workout. Like so many times I forgot to press lap after the triathlon and now my total time is way too long. I tried to use the edit function and just change the time (how I can do it with normal activities) but my changes are not being saved.

I am not sure if that's a bug, was done by intention or I simply make a mistake but does anyone have a solution on this?

Any help is really welcome!

Thanks

Hi, I have a question, which I feel is similar to this thread (so I hope no-one minds)... I am in a frustrating situation where my recently acquired Stages Power meter only stays connected to my Edge 1030 but drop out from my Fenix 5. In many ways it is not a huge problem, however when doing Triathlons (in Multi-sport) the triathlon saves as one multisport, but it does not have the power data from the stages which is in the Edge ride activity file.... On Garmin Connect, I can't find a way to delete the Fenix bike data from the multisport and replace it with the Edge 1030 bike data. Is there a way? I would like to be able to do this rather than having the keep the Multisport activity AND the cycle activity.
Thanks greatly is anyone can help!!!!
  • Robersan - give this file a try.

RKervin - the full version of the Fit File Repair Tool will allow you to do what you want to do. Or you can attach both files and one of us who own the full version can do it for you this time around.

    cheers

Thanks for the help Mike... Before I spend the $54 on the Repair Tool- is it really easy to do? I am happy to buy it if I think I can use it quickly and easy enough.
    Cheers,
    Ryan.

RKervin - if you attach both files, and if I can work out how to, then I can make a video clip of how easy the process is.

    cheers

I've got a few triathlons which I recorded as separate activities, due to not having a multisport-capable watch at the time. Would it be possible to get those combined into one .fit file? I did try downloading the repair tool and doing it myself, but couldn't make sense out of it (maybe I'm just tired). Would someone be willing to help me out?

OtterJohn - attach the files in a reply with a name that I know what order they are meant to be in and I will combine them for you.

    cheers

OtterJohn - your bf1 file doesn't contain a single data record?

EDIT - I take it that the three hot files all go together just like the two bf files do?

    cheers

kiwimtnbkr yes, the three hotv files go together. BF1 was a manual entry because my Fenix crapped out at the time; I guess that won't work for a merge?
