Edit Multisport activities

Former Member
Former Member
Hi,

I tried the search function but could not find anything to resolve my problem..

I have done a triathlon on the weekend and uploaded it to Garmin Connect. I really like that it now shows u as a single event and not as 5 individual activities as before (swim, bike, run and 2 transitions).

My problem is however that I cannot edit the workout. Like so many times I forgot to press lap after the triathlon and now my total time is way too long. I tried to use the edit function and just change the time (how I can do it with normal activities) but my changes are not being saved.

I am not sure if that's a bug, was done by intention or I simply make a mistake but does anyone have a solution on this?

Any help is really welcome!

Thanks

I ran a triathlon yesterday, and I too, forgot my watch. I can not manually add my triathlon from the stats provided by the race. This is very aggravating. Can you please tell me how to add a multisport event (triathlon) that allows me to put my swim time TI time bike time T2 time and run time. You would think Garmin would make this easy for someone who has invested $500 on a tri watc.

    Hello LeighDuck,
If you send another post with the location and name of the Triathlon and your times for the 5 sessions I can manufacture a file for you that will be close but not exactly what you actually did.

    Hello LeighDuck,
I found a triathlon from 2015 that I could alter to fit your times within a few seconds.
So....here ya go....a MultiSport manufactured with the Fit File Repair Tool.

    Rookie misstake..

Anyone with the means or instructions to strip standing-still-time after the finish of a FIT-file?
-I forgot to stop my watch after my official time of 1.45.22, to busy taking pictures with my kids..

    Thanks! :-)

Thanks a bunch, my (barely)run now shows correct, but overall still shows 1.53, but hey, room for improvement on my end.. :-)
Great tool, so I decided to purchase a C-license!
    I appreciated the quick help!

  • Unify two multisport files into one + edge520 fit file

Hello! I'm looking for a way to unify two multisport files into one.
By mistake, in a duatlhon after the T1 I press the button of lap and I could not record the section of the bike. After that I started a new multisport activity (while I was on the bike) to record the T2 and the last section of the race.

What I am needing is to have a single multisport file that contains:
1 - The first run and transition 1 of the first multisport file.
2 - The second part, part of the bike, I have the file of my edge520
3 - And finally take the T2 and the last run of another multisport file.

Is it possible to do this?

    Thanks in advance! :o
