Cannot manually add activity

I am switching to Garmin and trying to upload my previous activities from TomTom. I was having problems uploading the .fit or .gcx files, so I tried to enter a few in manually.

Whenever I attempt to enter in a manual activity, I get the following message:

"You have entered a value that is not accepted by the database. Please enter a new value."

I have no idea why. I have tried every combination of values, rounding mileages, leaving non-essential fields out.

Is this a new problem, and does anyone have a fix for it, or an ETA on Garmin's correction?

Just got the same problem for the first time after 3 of years of use..."You have entered a value that is not accepted by the database. Please enter a new value" By the looks of this thread it is not a new problem? Does it come and go? So far it has been a 24 hour + duration that I know of

I first noticed it about a week ago. Still happening today.

As a workaround, you can start and stop your watch and let it sync the bogus workout with Garmin Connect. Then find the bogus workout on the calendar view and edit the details. Click on the little pencil in the upper right corner on the workout page and you can change the date, time, distance, type of workout, etc.

Manual uploads still down - anyone know if/when this is planned to be fixed? Any response from Garmin?

I am now able to add a manual activity. Today was the first day in a long time that this feature works. I hope the many of you get this resolved as well. Garmin - if you've fixed this, thank you.
