Map data for my older activities are no longer accessible on Garmin Connect!

Hello there,

As a regular (i.e. daily) Garmin Connect user here in northern Italy (Lago Maggiore), I have just noticed that the maps for my older activities - which worked perfectly until recently - cannot now be displayed.

Instead of the actual maps (i.e. for northern Italy), a map of what appears to be South Kansas City in the United States is displayed.

Please advise me how I can fully access these activities again, as they are very important as references for local running courses, both for me and many colleagues.

    Update: I discovered that another one of my maps which previously wasn't working is now working. That makes 2, that I know of, which have been "saved" somehow, since I first noticed this Garmin bug.

    Out of my 204 rides, here's the status:
    • 183 are not working. All of these are older than January 27, 2014
    • 21 are working. All of these, except one, are newer than January 27, 2014.
    • Strangely, I have an odd one from August 3, 2013 which is working. Not sure if this is coincidence or not, but this happens to be the activity I included in the ticket I opened with Garmin support :) They never replied to me though.

    I'm also not seeing maps and charts most of my activities either. Same with both modern and classic. I didn't check every activity, but when I spot check, all of my my activities more recent than Jan 27 are working and those older are not.
  • Sorry to drag up an old thread, but I just noticed this myself.
    Was it ever fixed, or an issue logged?
    It's massively annoying to not have this data and makes me consider jumping ship from Garmin for my next device.
