Please let us know if you hear back. I am also missing details of my old activities, and am sad about it. But was pleased to learn that the data is still there, just not displaying on the connect site.
I had a similar issue. I am not sure if it's the same nature as the OP. e.g. When I share the activities via facebook, the link from facebook is: http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/601682346/1?lang=en by pressing the GC icon. All the data and charts are missing. However, if I use the link http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activity/601682346 by removing the "/1?lang=en" part, all data and graph are shown. Obviously it's a programming bug on GC.
Hi, I am affected by this issue as well - for me maps and charts are no longer displayed for everything before Aug 1, 2009 (I still can see the shells/summaries). Did anyone get a response from Garmin by when this will be fixed?
The Garmin Connect Team is aware of this issue and looking into why the data is failing to display properly for older activities. As a workaround, export the activity as a .tcx and then refresh the browser page to display the map and chart data. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
I have suddenly lost all map, pace, heart rate data of all multisport events, no matter how old the activities are. triathlons completed two months ago are just empty now.
Same problems, activities are missing maps and details, export works but gpx are empty. Some other activities just desapeared. Time frame June and mai 2014, .....

I went back to activities that could not be used as a Parcours, my problem looks like that: Going to the calendar (April May 2014) I select the failing activities. It does display correctly with maps and details, following your advice I download in TCX the selected activity. The file size is 2K. I refresh the browser, download again the size file remain at 2K. (No Map, no details, just a summary). Where do I fail? Your help will be appreciated.
I did not check all activities, but it looks like missing details are associated with a device removes from Garmin Express. I sold two devices (800 and Touring Plus removed from my Garmin) Is that an explanation?
