Hello Garmin Community,
I use the 'Workouts' rather than just starting the run timer on my Forerunner 220. For this reason I like to mix up my intensities like to run in different zones for different times. Whilst running using a 'Workout', it does not automatically record the spilt laps every mile as I have set on the Auto Lap setting.
I have worked around this by setting my 'Workout' to be 1 mile long, repeated X amount of times. This then records the spilt lap times at every mile.
Is this the only way to achieve spilt lap times using a 'Workout'?
This poses as another problem. If I set the 'Workout' to be repeated 5 times. Equalling a 5 mile run. But I actually run slightly longer say 6 or 6.5 miles. The 'Workout' stops recording any data beyond 5 miles, or the 5th repeat.
Is there a way to make the watch continue collecting data beyond the 'Workout' settings if I decided to take the scenic route?
Kind regards,
Kevin
