uploading file in .tcx or .gpx format

I was tyring to export my activities from the Garming Training Center software and upload them to Garmin Connect but haven't been able to sucessfully do so. I've tried exporting both as .gpx files and as .tcx files and then upload to Connect via the manual import part of the Garmin connect interface. However, I get "An error occurred with your upload. Please try again" everytime I try. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?

Do i have to upload only one activity at a time? (I tried this also, but couldn't get it to work.)
  • garmin incorporate topofusion on garmin connect... LOL

    so no fix, no word...
  • Topofusion deletes the temperature data (probably also heart-rate if you use it), so it is not a good workaround.

Topofusion also "work" for me. But same as me, Temperature Data has been removed..

Thanks for the advice re Topofusion. I now have the missing cycle tracks from my Oregon on my Connect page.

And for the mac user? Topofusion is a windows software!
I tried a converter online like this: http://www.gpsvisualizer.com/convert_input or http://www.gpsies.com/convert.do but without success.
And I don't think that is a good idea have our track loaded without data like the harthrate. We are talking about sport or no?

And why, with Basecamp (Garmin) we could import correctly the gpx but we can't send the same data to GC anymore like in the past?

+1 to all the posts here. This is infuriating. 4th April successfully uploaded to Garmin Connect. now since then I cannot!! For some weeks I have not been able to send data from basecamp to Connect either. GPX is supposed to be a standard cross platform format so why are they doing this?

Garmin - please sort this out.

One forum friend found a door.
It's rough, not integrated, only usable in manually mode.... but work.

    Hello Ben,

Can you attach a file that you have that will not upload to Connect so we can try to find out what went wrong or what might fix the file?

Same for YURIZOLI and anybody else.

I'm having the same problem uploading files from my Oregon 450. I've never been able to upload directly from the device and have always used the manual upload from .gpx. I select directly from the device drive. This has always worked in the past, but now I have no way to use the Garmin service with my Garmin device... perfect!

And when I attempt to email support I just receive errors on the website.
