New Garmin Connect iPhone App Sync Problems

So the new connect App is here. Looks smart.

However after today's ride there was no success uploading (Syncing) the new activity from the device (Edge 810).

Phone and Edge paired successfully and I have redone the pairing process to be sure. Also I have restarted both the Device and iPhone.

The little info bar at the bottom of the app screen says:

Syncing with Nick's 801

The soon after:

Sync Failed
Device Connection Error

Anyone else having the same problem?

    Same problem here with an Edge 810. Deleted app and reconnected with phone and still had the problem.

    Ditto problem. Please Garmin do something to this, it happens over and over again, this part is your unique selling point of the Edge810, bt when it fails constantly, I'm ready to step away from the Garmin solution.

    Had the same problem with my brand new Forerunner 220. Watch says it's paired, but phone says the sync failed. Please advise.

    I am having exactly he same problems with a Fenix 2 it has only managed to transfer training twice in the last 10 days - useless! Shouldn't be having problems like this using a £350 watch!!

    510 Fix

    As someone recommended I deleted the Garmin App from my Iphone 5c and uploaded did again. I was then successful at pairing my Garmin 510 again. Relief!

    I still experience same issue and new firmware upgrade to V3.0 does not appear to resolve issue.

    Wasn't having any issues, but seem to be having them now.

    Deleted app and reinstalled from app store, now the phone fails to sync with my watch (Forerunner 220). What a hassle.

    Same here, hasn't worked for a week now. Absolutely ridiculous that a 400 dollar Fenix 2 can't even upload from phone, but a four dollar app (ismoothrun) never fails and is dangerously close to being as accurate. I'll make sure to pass that on to any of my friends thinking of buying a Garmin product.

    I am having the same problem. Cannot sync
    The garmin forerunner 220 to my iPhone
    5. The app works fine. Device found on the app
    Bluetooth on but says phone connected
    And after few seconds it says sync failed
    Very frustrated, sine I am on a trip now
    And cannot sync my running activities
    And it is a new device.
    Help ????
