This is a bit of a weird problem. The last few workouts I've posted, the overall run time, and pace, were wrong. If I add up all the mile-splits on Garmin Connect, they will equal the right time, but Garmin connect didn't add them all up correctly. Anyone know what could cause this?
Count me to the list, except mine is showing the correct elapsed time on the screen after I uploaded the information. But when I clicked on View Details, my elapsed time went from 1:43 to 51:49, which is well short of the total of my mile splits. I'm hoping there's an easy and quick fix for this.
Change the workout type to "Running" and it will display. If you pick any of the sub-categories under running, like "Street Running" it will not display.
Same issue. They told me it was fixed as of 3/13 but my run yesterday came out even more bizarre, with everything messed up this time, not just the sums. It says I ran a 22 second mile. lol. Waiting to hear back from Garmin again.
I am having the same problem on the Garmin Connect website with my old Garmin Forerunner 301. The pace calculation on the Garmin Connect web site is wrong. Interestingly, my old Garmin Training Center software still works fine and shows the same pace as on the device.
what does the Pace read out actually mean? "min:ml" I'm in Australia and would like to change my readings to metric. Have been able to do so on the watch Fore Runner 220 but can't manage on Garmin Connect.
PAULDAVIDSON1, your problem has nothing to do with the problem being described by the others in this thread. Thread hijacking is considered bad etiquette.
Pace is time for a given distance. If you are looking at Statute units, 6:45 min/mi means that you ran 1 mile in 6 minutes and 45 seconds. You can change your settings to metric on the settings page.
