Garmin Connect is displaying wrong pace & run times

This is a bit of a weird problem. The last few workouts I've posted, the overall run time, and pace, were wrong. If I add up all the mile-splits on Garmin Connect, they will equal the right time, but Garmin connect didn't add them all up correctly. Anyone know what could cause this?

I'm having the same problem. It's b/c the time of the activity is not correct - if the watch has been stopped, garmin connect is not recognizing it and is basing everything off of the total activity time. =/

With my 305 the same, it looks like it counts breaks. It started a week or two ago. Something's changed in Garmin Connect..

I have this problem, too. It's a problem for Garmin Connect several weeks ago. It doesn't matter the watch you have.
How can we report that problem to garmin, in order to fix it?
  • Same problem here ... the overall activity time shown in GC is not the sum of the splits. As suggested above, this looks like GC is including time spent whilst the GPS is paused. The GPS shows the correct time, as does GTC. I have only noticed this issue in the last couple of weeks, btw ...

This problem is to do with very basic functionality ... would it be too much to ask that Garmin treat this as *urgent* and get it sorted ASAP??
  • Extra note: this thread ("Elapsed Time"):

    https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?72942-Elapsed-time

... is essentially describing the same bug.

Come on Garmin, don't let users' annoyance with this issue spoil your shiny new 'Connect' launch. Get this fixed!

I've got the same problem since Wednesday, they have updated the website and that's when my time is incorrect. It adds about 10 minutes to my workout, if you check your watch it displays the correct time. I also use Fetcheveryone to download workouts and I find it is a much better running log.
  • Me too - 405CX used. Will drive me away from Garmin Connect if it continues as I do lots of interval sessions

same issue here - for me since tuesday of this week I noticed garmin is counting elasped time as moving time, and time, which is so annoying cause it means after each run now i am having to go and manually edit the connect info to what my FR410 says. Come on garmin fix this problem - especially before your fancy software update which by the way looks like a total copy of mapmyrun and nikeplus combined.
