Garmin Connect is displaying wrong pace & run times

This is a bit of a weird problem. The last few workouts I've posted, the overall run time, and pace, were wrong. If I add up all the mile-splits on Garmin Connect, they will equal the right time, but Garmin connect didn't add them all up correctly. Anyone know what could cause this?

Same problem with the 405CX this week. Need to change the time manually so the correct pace shows up. Frustrating! Please fix soooon.
  • same problem with 405 has been going on here for a couple weeks, but today was the first time I'd had enough auto pause time on my run to make it very noticeable

garmin connect is basing average pace of activities on total time including the time spend autopaused........

lots of bugs with garmin connect lately, if this is a sign of things to come I don't like it one bit.

Same issue for me with Garmin Connect. its been going on for a little over a week. I thought I forgot math when average run time was at least two minutes higher than my slowest mile.

    Garmin fix it....
  • still broken as of today.... manually editing my run time is a real pain

same here I use a forerunner 405 - pretty annoying
  • Same here. 405. Tried hard reset. Definitely a web-site problem.
  • How hard is it to fix?? Really this is going on for weeks. Mapmyrun is getting my business.
  • This is the response I received from customer support last week regarding this issue:

"Thank you for contacting Garmin International. I will be happy to assist you with this. We are experiencing some issues with the data showing incorrect pace and times when loaded into Garmin Connect. We recently overhauled Garmin Connect. Our Garmin Connect team is working to resolve this issue, but I do not have a definite time of when it will be fixed.

I apologize for the inconvenience. Please let me know if you have additional questions. "

I have a Forerunner 410 and since the 17th February I am having the same problem as the posts describe here. The watch is recording the correct run time next of stop starts. That's good - the upload to the Garmin Connect is in fact the overall run time irrespective of stops. This is not how it used to be and makes the site virtually useless to me. I will now have to manually enter my times. So next time I replace my watch it might not be a Garmin, because one of the plusses with the Garmin is the on line website and upload of details.
