Garmin Connect does not show interval data when comparing new activities

I noticed this problem recently, when I tried to compare two identical activities uploaded from my Garmin Edge 500 that I use to do on my bicycle. When I now compare them on Garmin Connect it shows this image:



If I now re-upload previous activities the GC does not show the lap data. If I compare previously uploaded activities all data are displayed correctly.

Moreover on the main page of the activity all data appear correctly.

Has anyone noticed this problem on your Garmin Connect?
  • You need to remember that Gamin NEVER fixes one thing without breaking something else. They seem to have no change control.

    Thought that this was an issue related to switching from GF 610 to 910, but how wrong was I! This issue has been going on now for some time. Please fix this bug, since i's very frustrating :(

    I guess I should just add that I am having the exact same issue everyone else is reporting. It would be nice if Garmin would give an ETA on fixing it. Obviously the data is there so it should just be a tweak in how the comparison algorithm works but who really knows what is going on with the programming on the back end. Lets hope they fix this soon as it is really annoying to not be able to compare activities.
  • Can't believe it is over 3 months now since this issue was reported and still no fix from Garmin. Very disappointing.
  • I've had the same problem since February. It sounds like this is a problem with the website. Has anyone gotten in touch with them?

    Annoying to say the least. What's up Garmin? You take our money, but can't issue what should be a simple fix.

    Garmin - Come on , Very simple problem here . Any programmer worth his Salt could correct this. I am genuinely concidering moving on to another product/brand over this , as this is the most important feature that use with my Garmin. Very disappointing

    I use Garmin Edge 500 and am having same issue. The 'new' connect.garmin is better than the old version, but that's not saying much. It's still really primitive. Besides the lap data not showing on the comparisons, there's other data in the GPS not available at all on the website (e.g. grade %). Also the reporting is very simplistic -- why can't I select my own date range to report? why can't I compare, for example, this year vs last year (totals by month or week)? or see a report of elevation gain? I hope garmin improves the site. As others have mentioned, the web site is a big part of whether one recommends/buys a gps.

    The problem still persists as does the inability for lap markers to be shown on the map.
