Elevation Chart Missing

I have a Forerunner 10 and I realize that the unit itself does not track elevation, but I know that GarminConnect will calculate the elevation changes once I've uploaded an activity. It did this perfectly for my first 6 or so activities, but now with my latest runs that I've uplaoded, no elevation map is coming up and there were most certainly hills on the routes that I ran.

What is going on here?

Thanks!

I use Strava along with Garmin. If I upload my run using Strava, my elevation shows. Interesting that it works on Strava and not on my Garmin any longer.

Yeah, I have been having the same problem on my forerunner 10! It is so frustrating! I hope they can fix whatever made it happen!

    Hi,

Similar problem to other posters. I've a garmin forerunner 10 and recent activities, including a hilly race I did this morning, are not showing elevation data. I recently installed Garmin Express. Wonder if this could be the culprit.

    Regards,

    Mick

I did now. Thanks for pointing me to it. Not a great customer experience for this important feature to be unavailable. Cheers anyway.

Must be a global problem. My activities were fine up to and including 4th Feb, then on 5th Feb it stopped reporting.

Also I noticed that my last two activities, a cycle ride yesterday afternoon and a run this morning, show the elapsed time and the moving time as identical despite the fact that I know there were significant stops. I had to stand at traffic lights for more than minute this morning. Not sure if it's a connected problem.

Has anyone reported it to Garmin?

Yes, I reported the moving time issue about 2 months ago and one of the forwarded replies said "I thought we'd fixed this".

The connect website has stopped doing corrected elevation plots. Devices that don't record elevation would rely on the map look up for elevation. I believe this has stopped working. At least a month ago for me.

    Elevation missing

I have a Forerunner 10 and I realize that the unit itself does not track elevation, but I know that GarminConnect will calculate the elevation changes once I've uploaded an activity. It did this perfectly long ago, and now sometimes yes, and other not, but don't know why
What is going on here? Someone can help me?

    Thanks
