I use a powerbeam turbo which is controlled by a cycleops joule computer so for turbo riding it's easier to just use the joule for everything rather than trying to set up a garmin as well. The data can then be downloaded to poweragent which allows me to export as a .tcx file which I then upload to garmin connect and strava.
On strava the resulting rides look fine, but on GC the power is missing and the distance (and as a result, speed)is massively wrong, see this file for an example. The actual distance should be just over 23 miles!
I'm not sure if it's a problem with the way poweragent converts files or something wrong with GC, but the fact the same file imports into strava ok makes me think it's a GC issue? Has anyone had a similar problem and know of a solution please?
Edit: Just taken another look at the file I linked to, in the graphs the distance seems to be about right but in the summary its shown as 138miles, just to confuse things further! What is going on?
