I downloaded one of themarathon training programs to my device and am finding the pace extremely slow as determined by the schedule. E.g. today was a 2h 15m run at 111-129bpm which was close to walking pace - v. frustrating
It was nearly impossible to get into any sort of slow jog without being alerted that my heart rate was too high. A similar thing happened when i tried doing a scheduled interval session.
The issue i have is that i'm aiming for a goal marathon time of 3.30 which is 5m km's, my scheduled HR training is waaayyy too slow for this goal.
I have entered my max HR or 187 as determined by my age (33) and entered a resting heart rate of 59bpm which i calculated.
Any suggestions?
