Bug: Send workouts to device (305) setting workouts to wrong date on watch

Hi,

I reset my Forerunner305 (power + mode), then went to the calendar view and click send workouts to device. The system requested I update the GCP to 4.1.0.0 and so I did.
The website says "79 workouts will be sent to your device. From: 2013, Nov 03 To: 2014, Mar 01" as expected and completes the transfer.
When I check the workouts on my watch, they are all there in the right order but they are assigned to the wrong days! The first one on 1/29, the last one on 5/26.

I have tried several variation of the procedure several times from both Firefox and Safari:
- Reset + send workouts
- Send workouts several times in a row

But no dice, the dates are all wrong.

Any idea/help appreciated.

Thanks,
David
  • Same problem here.
I have a forerunner 305 and since I am using my macbook instead of my older PC I have a delay on all workouts.

This got me wondering whether this was a Mac specific problem or a general Forerunner 305 issue. I've just tried sending my workouts from a PC and the dates are all set correctly - so it's presumably an issue with the OS X browser plugin.

Disappointing that Garmin can't look into this and fix it.

+1 on this. On my MacBook with my 305 workouts scheduled to start today (4/29) were coming in starting on 7/25.

I moved over to my PC and transferred the workouts on the correct dates.

It would be nice if this could be addressed so all is well on the Mac.

+1 on this. Probably wasted something like 6h trying to solve this throughout several days... Finally found this post and tried it on a PC and it worked like a charm. Would be really good if they could solve it on the Mac...

    Thanks for the post.
