Garmin Connect display error

Since yesterday's system "upgrades" when in the player view of an activity, the top screen (where it displays heart rate, elevation, speed etc), the graphic display is all screwed up, with multiple lines appearing etc. Interestingly, this seems to be happening only with my run data which is from a Forerunner 405, whereas my ride data (from an Edge 500). Also, the second half of a run recorded on my iPhone Garmin Fit app (the forerunner ran out of batteries!) displays ok (the first half, with the Forerunner the display is "screwed up").
This issue seems to affect all my old run data as well as recent ones. They all displayed properly, up until now.

I have the same problem. All the data from my FR305 i completely garbled, but the data from my Edge500 works fine.

I'm having this same problem displaying all run activities recorded with my 405. I'm also unable to change from speed to pace. If I switch to display time instead of distance the lines are gone and things seem to display properly.
  • I also have this problem which is why Im on this forum right now. Glad its not just me - I thought my data had got corrupted.

I hope Garmin will put things back to normal asap.

Corrupt Player display (last data point connects to first with a straight line)

I am getting a similar corruption (noticed it for several days now):

The symptom is that in the player display (speed data, elevation and heart rate data all have normal looking data EXCEPT that the last data point connects to first with a straight line, and I am unable to use the cursor to select points on any of those graphs beyond the mid-point of the run.

I assumed it was my device (it wasn't) and reset this device (410) and have now noticed that all of my previous data, which was fine (9 months worth), is now corrupted as well. I have checked on multiple browsers, from multiple systems: same result. So it is not the computer platform/browser causing the problem. It isn't the device uploading bad data (this would not have affected previously uploaded data). So it must be Garmin. Very disappointing.

Same problem. Also notice that it displays OK if I choose "Time" but not "Distance".

    same problem

I'm having the same issues as described. I've reached out to Garmin support with all of the specific details and have an open ticket with the Support Team, so they are aware of the issue. Hopefully will be resolved soon.

Not as much fun running when I can't see how slow I'm actually going at certain points :D
  • Garmin Connect display error (PLAYER page only- data graphs and route player)

    I'm having the same problem,
    1. the data for heart rate, elevation and speed is showing lots of returns to the 0,0 point and disconnects in the flow of the line.
    2. When using the play option on the map the location teardrop marker is constantly offset from the actual GPS track (the GPS track on the map is accurate)....
(just checked again and the offset effect has been fixed)
    3. Its something to do with the site rather than the submitted data as previous runs that displayed correctly previously are now all showing the same problems on the "player" page.

It is just the displays on the PLAYER page and its not the data as all the data graphs on the DETAIL page are fine.

    same problem

I am having exactly the same problem as described by others above. I have only 405 data but it all (going back almost 2 years) now displays incorrectly. Additionally, it won't go into full screen mode; moving the map around works in very peculiar ways. What's going on? How long does it take Garmin to fix a problem like this?
  • Speed vs pace is all messed up

Yup, same here. 310XT. Speed versus pace is all messed up on player. Not sure how many of these posts will help generate faster response. Just ran a Half marathon, and it stinks not being able to compare and contrast as I've been used to.
