Garmin Connect display error

Since yesterday's system "upgrades" when in the player view of an activity, the top screen (where it displays heart rate, elevation, speed etc), the graphic display is all screwed up, with multiple lines appearing etc. Interestingly, this seems to be happening only with my run data which is from a Forerunner 405, whereas my ride data (from an Edge 500). Also, the second half of a run recorded on my iPhone Garmin Fit app (the forerunner ran out of batteries!) displays ok (the first half, with the Forerunner the display is "screwed up").
This issue seems to affect all my old run data as well as recent ones. They all displayed properly, up until now.

Garmin Player graph all over the place

this is really annoying it only on my player, the elevation goes back to zero at the end so puts a line through everything and the speed values just show a weird value for example 14 varying but what?

If everyone is experiencing this why is there not a fix for this yet? I really miss going back over the run im my player and checking the data :-(

    Im using a 410.

    Garmin Connect Player

Thank goodness for that. I thought I was the only one with this problem. I also noticed the Player screen was causing the same problem with older runs that displayed OK at the time so I assume the problem is with the website and that the run data will be fine when the problem is resolved. I hope...

I'm also using my trusty 410.
  • Come on Garmin liven up !

A response of some kind would be nice from the people from Garmin.

my 405 and the wife's 110 are both having the same difficulties as others, when trying to view activities, in player mode. All old runs are mucked up as well.
VLM training beginning soon ,wont be using Garmin products if this situation isn't resolved.

Same problem now with Forerunner 205

Glad I found this thread. Thought I had done something wrong. Just noticed the change and disappointed with it. Just want to be able to see my pace in min/mile like I did before.

Really disappointing that it is taking so long to sort this problem out. I have a 410 with the same problem. Both new and old runs affected which suggests it's something wrong with the platform since the upgrade. Sort it out please Garmin!
  • I have also logged this issue with "support", and included a link to this thread, however I encourage each and every one of you that has posted here about experiencing this problem to also individually officially log it with them. Let's see if we can bludgeon them into taking some corrective action! It's been over a week now since I first posted about the issue. You'd think they'd want to avoid a whole lot of extra pissed off customers!

PS Garmin...I can look at this data in Strava and other apps without the issues I have through Garmin connect. There are plenty of viable alternatives to your site.

    Cheers

  • Response from garmin

I received a response today from garmin Europe in connection with this issue.
They are aware of the problem and are working on a software release to correct it.
The email however stated that they were not sure of the timescale of this release.
    It's a start I suppose,but I do hope they hurry up.
