Garmin Connect iPhone App Ver 1.2 issues

Since the latest update to Ver 1.2 the App has been randomly clearing all saved activities and then downloading them all again... Problem with this is that until all the activities (way back to about Feb or March) are downloaded again the new activities will not upload. Also of course the data load must be high to transfer literally hundreds of activities. I have tried deleting and re-installing the App but no improvement. Anyone experiencing the same.

    I have the same problem. It also seems to be interfering with LiveTrack, which will allow me to start a LiveTrack activity, but it then stops responding after only a couple minutes.
  • I am having the same issue since the upgrade.

    iPhone 5 ATT 6.1.4
    Current GC iPhone app - deleted rebooted and re-downloaded multiple times.

    When the bluetooth transfer happens from the 810 all seems fine.
    Then attempt to get the ride to upload to GC and app usually crashes at least once.
    Lately the app has been loosing all data and has to redownload all rides.
    The last two one on 810(2.6) and one on 810(2.7) upload attempts the app has lost the activity and all rides stored and had to redownload... then I had to start my 810 up again and retransfer the ride and redo the upload.

    Any help on how to resolve the issue with the GC app would be greatly appreciated.

    same issue here....
    app clears all activities and strart downloading again
    livetrack hangs
    activity not saved
    activity not uploaded...

    Same issue here. Sometimes it take well over an hour before a new activity gets uploaded to garmin connect.

  • Garmin! Please help! This problem is a PITA and chewing some serious data. Can we roll the app back to the previous version? My only solution is to delete the app until its fixed and then I ask myself. "Why did I buy an 810?"

  • Garmin. I think this issue and the issue with the slow upload to the web in another thread are linked. The app prioritises downloading the history before it will upload the new activities so the guys suffering from the slow upload probably have the activity hanging in the app waiting for history to download.
