Activitiy stuck in "uploading" in Garmin Connect from Edge 500

I completed a ride this morning and tried to upload to garmin connect but the activity appears to be stuck in "uploading" and I can't see it on my activity list and none of the data is available.

I have tried re-uploading, chaining the name etc but it still is sat hanging in "uploading"

I have tried manual uploading but I just get a error saying it could not be uploaded.

Is there a way to get it onto garmin connect or is it now gone forever?

Concur. I've got the 110 and had no issues uploading until 2 days ago. Now just the unending 'uploading' loop. Grrrr Garmin fix this please.

    Yep

My Garmin 510 was working fine until Tuesday 4th Feb now it is stuck in upload. Would be great to get a fix for this
  • ditto - it is a disgrace it is taking so long. Garmin patch it up!

No problems until the last week. Tried master reset...delete all my activities etc. Still no joy!
  • Another West Australian with connect garmin issues! Last successful upload was on the morning of 5/2/2014 (AWST), tried again in the afternoon and got the error message! And have done ever since. Next course will be to reset (reluctantly) the 800 and see if that works?

I have had problems since the 6th Feb as well. Tried my 210 and my wifes 110 and same problem
  • Well, with all these posts from users all over, it cannot be our Garmin's at fault! The issue is obviously with Garmin's web uploader. Sort it out guys, please!

I'm also stuck in the endless "uploading" cycle with my Edge 800. Have also tried Fixed Fit, manual upload and different computer with no success. It's been like this 6/2. Like everyone else, no dramas uploading those files to Strava. Also in Perth. I've also done a full reset on the device and that still didn't fix it.
However, I was able to upload a run with my 910XT on 7/2, maybe not an issue for those devices using ANT+ ??

I've got the same problem (Victoria, Australia). I have a 810, and since a month or so it has been behaving badly. Started out with not being able to upload to Connect in Chrome, but it now has culminated in upload being stuck while uploading activities in any browser (Chrome, Safari, Firefox and IE). Deleting activities and a few hard resets have not solved the problem. Trying to fix the files with http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ hasn't worked either. I can't make much sense of the converted .fit (to csv using http://garmin.kiesewetter.nl/ ) but it record positioning errors. My only thought left is: can time values of files be overlapping and therefor cannot be uploaded?
