Cannot send 'Workouts' to device (610) from Garmin Connect

I just received a 610 for Christmas. I've been using it successfully and have even saved and sent courses to my device via the ANT Agent so that I can use the virtual racer. Awesome :) However, I cannot send the workout I've saved in my connect account to my device. It shows on my computer and my 610 that the data is being transferred, but it never actually shows up on my device.

Not sure if it matters but I'm using a PC, Windows 7.

I've also tried re-starting my PC and my 610. No dice.

Any suggestions?

    Try duplicating the workout - then rename it - then try and save.

    Worked for me on IE10 / Win7

    The duplication worked for me (Win7/Forerunner 220), thank you ragged_edge! But why it has to be this complicated, this is obviously a bug, how come has not been fixed as yet, since this is discussed for more than 12 months...

    Also, I am having problems synchronising my Garmin Swim. I have already figured out that this is because I am using wireless mouse and keyboard which work on the same frequency as the ant +. So, the only way I can upload data from my watch to computer is by disconnecting mouse and keyboard, connecting the old mouse and go through the process of synchronising... that's ridiculous... How come the brand that is designing and manufacturing such excellent watches could not come up with adequate software solutions... mind boggling...

    Fixed for Mac and 220

    I made sure to select a type of "Run" instead of "Custom" and I used a short name: "4x8and2". The workout was successfully transferred to my device. I believe the problem was the workout type because a similar workout with a type of "Custom" did not get transferred to my device.
