Garmin Connect failed due to server error

I have the Garmin 405 and the last 2 days when going to sync i've been getting that message. Any ideas on what to do?
Thanks!
  • All the things explaned above are about uploading activities, how can I upload my fitness resultes (data from my Tanita BC-1000 stored on my 310XT). BTW, I also use the option delete all data on the forerunner 310XT, so I hope it is somewhere on my PC.

I just found my own answer! The fitness data is in the Weight folder.
  • Hi

You don't need to select the health data file located into the weight folder, you have just to click on the buton "upload health data" through garmin connect upload page.

    This works fine for me
  • Even if you are deleting it off your device, it should still be in the file mentioned in the earlier threads.

You're right, I found it! Thanks!

  • Where has the field 'Training Effect' left? It disappeared for the manual activitities. Probably it missed the programming step at the server due to server failure. I think I know where the bug is in the software ;-)

Garmin 405 - None of this works for me. Everything will upload as normal until it gets to "tracks" then it fails. This is really getting old. I haven't been able to transfer anything since 12-14-12.

Same problem with my Garmin Forerunner 910XT. Server Error, synching with GarminConnect.

But the problem is that after synchronizing it deletes automatic all the data on the Forerunner. So all recent trip data is lost...

    I do not like this...

HI, I HAD THE SAME ISSUE, BUT TO SOLVE I HAVE INSTALLED A TOOL TO RESTORE DELETED FILES (WIN XP, VISTA, 7) LOOKING FOR THE "HISTORY FOLDER" WITH SUCCESS. AFTER HAVE THE .TCX FIELS RESTORED i HAVE UPLOADED MANUALLY TO AVOID THE SAME ISSUE AGAIN.

this indeed is getting old. What's the point of having the feature if you have to manually upload? I now have to wait doe it to attempt several times and then fail to even upload to trainingpeaks! So sick of this!!!!
