Profile Last 12 Months Graph Feature Suggestion

Hi,
I really like the new graph on my GarminConnect profile page, but charting the # of activities is really meaningless. Could you please add the ability to display total hours and/or total miles/km's?

This information is much more meaningfull from a training perspective. Perhaps you could provide a drop-down to let users choose what they want to see.

Another thing would be to get rid of some of the whitespace in the activities list below the chart so you can view more activities without having to scroll down.

THanks!
Brian

It would be very useful if you could change what activities the graph shows.
eg the graph on my profile includes swimming, even if I've not done any swimming at all. It would be more useful if I could change it to walking instead.

I agree that it would be good to have the option of time/distance, instead of the number of activities.

Interesting... When I look at my profile, I don't see a graph. Where are you seeing this? Perhaps they are rolling it out to users slowly?

Its on your profile page, you can get it by clicking your username in the top-right, and choosing My Profile. Or at the address (with your username): http://connect.garmin.com/profile/username
It seems to be for everyone, at least all of the profiles visible to me.

Thanks, but it isn't there for me.

    Rolling 12 months by Distance/Volume

I completely agree with Brian's suggestion. It would be much more useful to have the rolling 12 month graph displayed by distance or in my opinion volume(hrs). Most training plans running/tris etc. ask for a progession in volume throughout the plan and it would be nice to see to look back and see what type of increases (in all disclipines) work leading up to big races. The reason I suggest using volume or duration of activites rather than distance is to capture those spins, swims, or runs that are captured by time or manually entered.

    thanks,
    TJ

Thanks, but it isn't there for me.

Nor for me, though I can see this for someone I am connected to, I just cannot see anything when I look at my own Profile.

Go to your Settings and select the Connect Profile tab. Scroll all the way to the bottom to the Fitness Section. One of the options is to display "Last 12 Months." Select that and your graph should show up.

    Thanks, works now!
  • This graph would be great if there was an option to show distance instead of activity count. On a side note it doesn't look like it updates the total activity count/distance/etc. if you deselect swimming for ex.

Thanks Raven - really useful - I now have the graph too.

I'd also like to see a function to adjust the timeframe and a bit more functionality on this tool - love the new graph.
