Profile Last 12 Months Graph Feature Suggestion

Hi,
I really like the new graph on my GarminConnect profile page, but charting the # of activities is really meaningless. Could you please add the ability to display total hours and/or total miles/km's?

This information is much more meaningfull from a training perspective. Perhaps you could provide a drop-down to let users choose what they want to see.

Another thing would be to get rid of some of the whitespace in the activities list below the chart so you can view more activities without having to scroll down.

THanks!
Brian

    Hello!
I was wondering how I can include 'walking' activities into the 'last 12 months' chart that appears on my profile...
It is set to show 'running', 'cycling' and 'swimming' activities...
    Tnx in advance!

It would be very useful if you could change what activities the graph shows.
eg the graph on my profile includes swimming, even if I've not done any swimming at all. It would be more useful if I could change it to walking instead.

I agree that it would be good to have the option of time/distance, instead of the number of activities.

Up ! On the home page of my profile, in the "last 12 months" area, it would be fine to view other activities (skitouring for example) instead of running, swimming and cycling.

Absolutely my point! I do a lot of SuP, CC-Skiing, Indoor Activities that are not displayed on this graph.
A possibility to include all Activities would be great!

    +1

What shows in the activities chart should be determined by the "What I do" check boxes in the Edit Profile screen. Hard coded running, cycling, swimming is not very functional.

Garmin any comment to this thread?

2.5 years and still not an update on this?
  • There is a report that seems to be what people are looking for (this is in the new interface, not the "classic"): http://connect.garmin.com/modern/report/17/all/last_year

It *seems* to be driven by my actual activities. And it's a really nice stacked bar chart with the ability to see numbers for each month, and turn on/off various activities.

The only problem is that it's the "Total Distance" report - but nowhere on it is the total distance. All you can get is the monthly breakdown.

The problem is the "public profile" only displaying a very limited amount of information with literally no ability to configure how it should look. The thing showed in the profile only shows running, swimming and bicycling in the graph. I really don't get the necessity for a forced restriction on the information accessible for public viewing. There should be a simply option to allow any peers to view the profile in its entirety, just like any other tracking software (like runkeeper). I have friends and family that likes to follow my progress and it's not sensible to use the Garmin software for this (right now I use both runkeeper and garmin).

The things I can see in my profile, while I'm logged in, is plentiful and I have no complaints there. I just want to be able to simply link my profile to friends and family and they can see everything I see, not the stale profile they use now.
