For the past few days I've been having issues logging in to GC. Running Windows7, IE9 so assume that's not it. Can't find anything on the forums. Does anyone have any ideas?
i can log into mygarmin but cant log into connect.garmin - anyone knows what the problem is, i am using macbook pro (3 yrs old), previously i am using i7 windows 7, and there was no problem
I don't know if this helps, but I was having the same problem, it only started after I did an update and was asked to put buy.garmin.com, my.garmin.com and connect.garmin.com into my trusted sites, from that point garmin connect stopped working. Checking further I notice that garmin connect is not a https site and therefore shouldn't be included in the trusted sites as it only accepts 's' sites. When I deleted it my access to garmin connect was restored. I don't know if this the correct way of doing things but it worked for me.
Updated to internet explorer 9 a few weeks back and made sure Garmin Forerunner and ANT were updated too following previous site issues. All was sweet - until today when I 'just' popped in to upload a quick 4km walk and deleted a connection request from some person I didn't know. Next thing I am logged out and can't log back in. Vicious cycle with that dreaded log in page. The only hope for the day was that I was still logged in on my husbands ipad (however small a consolation). As a busy Mum of four with no time to spare and a wasted few hours behind me I discovered this post. Having not consciously added any sites to any trusted list I was sceptical. It worked! Deleted garmin connect (only) from trusted sites and I am back in with a grin (or rather I can go to bed without the gnashing of teeth and not be facing more of the same rubbish tomorrow). I'm having the same problem. Not able to log on to Garmin Connect... Extremely annoying. I wonder if ANY Garmin employee has helped anyone on that common issue?! Looks like a lot of customers with same problem. I can also NOT reset my garmin connect password tc in order to log on. Any help?
