Garmin Connect Chart Scaling

It would be extremely nice to be able to configure the y-scale on charts for any given workout. I have an activity where I gained ~100ft elevation and lost about the same, yet it looks like a straight line because it is scaled 0-1200ft.

I'm joining here. The Pace chart is unfortunately quite useless with scale 0:00 to 50:00 min/km. It is hardly to notice even big difference, not to mention e.g. 15sec per km improvement.

    I totally agree!

I would also welcome manual scaling - or even better that the automatic scaling was more useful to begin with.

Possibly what is needed it to filter out the extremes when doing the auto-scaling.
Ie. I run at between 4 & 6 minutes per kilometer.. I don't need to see a reading of 24min/km when I stopped at a crossing.

I agree!!! Did a ride between sea level and +60m and the graph shows 200m below sea level to 100m above sea level, so the data only uses 20% of the chart and it is not possible to see the detail. Runkeeper with my IPhone does a much better job of graphing data

I also agree. I get the evelation chart scale from -200m to +100m, the range on my ride was +9m to +42m.
  • Add me

Add my name to the list, I run at ~700meters and have a variance of 50m plus or minus so the result is a virtually a strainght line. Simalar comments to others on the pace as well.

The automatic scaling right now is brutal.

I'd also like to see some consistency in the elevation scaling so I could start to get used to what a "big hill" looks like.

    Chart scaling - please

:p Absolutely: Did Garmin respond to this popular feature yet? I train in a flat country. 50m elevation is considered a mountain. So I train up and down the only hill for 300 km, and yet I can no visualise elevation in the chart, making it almost useless to see how progressive workouts improve my fitness going up and down small hills.

So "yes please" Garmin for this functionality.
