Cannot upload to Garmin Connect - recent problem

For the last three or four days, I cannot seem to upload to Garmin Connect. I have tried both IE and Firefox. I've cleared all history, caches, etc. I've reset the trusted site information to add *.garmin.com to IE's trusted sites. I've made sure that the plugins are installed by going to the garmin dashboard to make sure that they can communicate with my Edge 705. All to no avail.

All I get is the attached screen shot. I've made no modifications to my system (other than the obligatory windows updates) and have successfully uploaded about 5 days ago. At this point, I'm out of ideas.

    Same here. I can see and access files on the device (Edge 500) so I know it is being read by my computer. It's the upload to Garmin Dashboard that isn't working.

    When I click on upload it just shows a blank in the main box where it would normally show the list of activities.

    I last uploaded on Friday and have not made any modifications since then,

    I'm using Windows / Firefox. Haven't changed anything and the data sucessfully transfers to the ANT agent. However, when I try to upload nothing happens. I can't even see the big cartoon of the device / forerunner or the option to import manually on the upload page, (like the OP's image) .I think the problem must be with Garmin Connect site and not the ANT or Forerunner...Has anyone made any progress?

    Some have said that clearing their browser's cache has solved the issue for them.

    As you can see from my post above, tried that - on both IE and FireFox - and that didn't help. I think there is a much larger issue going on here from the posts above.

    I also sent a mail to the support folks. I'm getting a bit frustrated that this has gone on as long as a week with no solution.

    From those that have posted, are all of us using an Edge 705? Maybe we can at least narrow the problem down to a type of device. That way if someone from Garmin monitors the forum (not sure since no one jumped in here), they may have a bit more data to go on.

    I also just noticed that they took the site down on Oct. 7 for maintenance. That is about the time that I started having problems uploading. Connected? Possibly.
  • I am having the same problem. I am using a Forerunner 305 and have tried it on both my PC with Windows XP through Firefox and IE and my MacBook Pro using Safari and Firefox. Nothing seems to be working. I can upload to my Garmin Training Center loaded on my Mac with no problems.

    Got the same issue and I have the Oregon 450

    Hope Garmin fixes this quickly, I have tried all the work around's and it still wont upload or even show the upload link.:(
