Unable to upload new activities!

Dear sir and madams,

After my latest running this morning, I can no longer upload new activities through Garmin Connect, using the Forerunner 305.

Normally I use Google Chrome to upload new activities, but in frustration of the missing data, I tried Internet Explorer also, but with no luck.

I then tried to put the dongle into another free USB port, but still no luck.
Then i tried to restart the computer, but all with same result.

I also tried deleting history in the watch, keeping only the last months activities (which are all stored using Smart Time).

As a last resort I tried using the Training Center, and this works somewhat fine, although June 3 is stored under week of May 30th, why this might be a bug in either the watch or the Training Center.

Any help in regards to resolving this matter is highly appreciated.

    Your activites should be stored within the ANT Agent device directory until they are succesfully uploaded to Garmin Connect. Also, all history is retained in the ANT Agent for 30 days even after successful uploads. If the upload fails, your activity will not be lost.

    I didn't know that. Cool feature.

    Having the same problem uploading on My Edge 705

    Have tried both standard and manual upload, and while it appears as "New" in Manual, it cannot then be uploaded to the activities.:rolleyes:

    fr60 still not uploading

    Hmm..the upload process seems to be hung on my fr60..has been "reading activities" for about 5 minutes...

    Two questions-

    Two questions here...
    1) Can someone tell me how to disable the auto delete so I can keep the data on my garmin even after the "data has been transferred"?

    2) How can I recover data that was supposedly transferred, but is not showing up in my garmin connect account, but has been deleted from my 405cx because it was supposedly transferred?

    I only know the answer to 1): Open the Configuration of your ANT Agent and uncheck the correspondent box.
  • Uploaded activites should be in the ANT Agent device directory. On Windows XP this folder is here:
    C:\Documents and Settings\<user name>\Application Data\GARMIN\Devices\<unit ID>
    For newer versions of Windows, I think this is the correct path:
    C:\Users\<user name>\Library\Application Support\Garmin\Devices\<unit ID>

    There should be a History there that contains all history from the last 30 days. There is also a Garmin Connect\Pending Uploads folder, but files in this directory should be automatically uploaded the next time data is sent.

    XFATMAN- Open Configuration?

    Thanks for the reply, but when you say, "Open the Configuration of your ANT Agent and uncheck the correspondent box" I do not know how to open the config. of the ANT Agent. (I am not the most computer or Garmin Savvy guy out here!) Any insight here would be most helpful.

    For Windows 7 your device history is located here :-

    C/Users/(Your user name)/AppData/Roaming/GARMIN/Devices/(Your device id number*)/History

    All activities are located in the history folder in data and time order.

    *If you only have one Garmin device then there will only be one device id number showing anyway.
