Hello,
First of all apoligies if this is an obvious question that has been answered before. I've tried searching the forums but haven't found the answer....
I have a forerunner 50 with a footpod, which I regularly use for running. Basically there are no problems. However, something I don't understand is the following. If (like today) I go for a run with a stop in the middle, when I upload the data afterwards the stop time is including in the stats, when (as far as I'm concerned), it should be excluded because I wasn't running in that time. I'll give a dummy example....
Lap 1 - 10 minutes, 2 km, ave pace 5 mins/km
Lap 2 - 10 minutes, 0 km (stopped)
Lap 3 - 10 minutes, 2 km, ave page 5 mins/km
But the overall stats read:
Total time: 30 minutes
Total distance: 4 km
Ave pace: 7.5 mins/km !!!
Surely this should read:
Total time: 20 minutes (plus 10 minutes stopped time not in stats)
Total distance: 4 km
Ave pace: 5 mins/km
Sorry to labour the point, but this is really screwing with a lot of my runs' stats. Is there any setting or way to get round this? Is this a bug? Surely the stopped time shouldn't be included in the overall stats.
By the way, this is different from a run where I do several laps without stops (more usual). The stats then are of course fine. This is only for runs that include a mid-run stop.
Thanks in advance,
Hugo Read.
