Please Enable Chrome Support

The Communicator Plugin works fine with Chrome. I use it all the time with other web sites (e.g. RunningAhead). Unfortunately, Garmin Connect doesn't realize this, and it explicitly disallows the plugin when it detects Chrome as the browser.

This is a simple fix. Can the GC gurus manage to find time to do it?
  • Works fine for me in Chrome. GC works perfectly in every area as far as I can tell. Have you got the latest version of Chrome?

    Chrome not supported

I have the latest Chrome for Mac and when I click 'upload' it displays:
Garmin Communicator Plugin is not supported by your browser..

I am with you on this one. :(

At the moment I am forced to fire up Safari just to import my activities.
As you said if I use Chrome on my MAC the plug-in believes the browser is not supported.

I can't believe we are the only two Garmin users that have a Mac and use Chrome instead of Safari... or are we?

You aren't! I am also a Mac and Chrome user and I have had the same problem. I can't seem to upload data from my Edge 500 to GC using Chrome. I have to open Firefox. A Chrome plugin would be sweet...

Chrome for Mac does not work. I suspect there is actually no reason for this.

If I manually set the user agent string for my browser to one for Firefox 3.6, the plugin works fine for everything I have tried. This is just dumb for it to not be enabled.
  • Same here - Mac OSX and latest version of Chrome, not support for the plugin - Come on Garmin, Chrome is gaining ground on the others browsers out there, please support it.
