Changing Garmin Forum screen name

How do you change your screen name, e.g., from "adsager" to something else? I do not see anything in the UserCP to change my screen name.

Is there any update to this? Somehow I have accidentally ended up with a screen name matching my email address. Which is not desirable.

I did not try to save it, but the user name is editable in forum profile settings. Did you try changing it there? I mean the name right of the avatar, that you can also change as you want.

During April 2019 the forum was completely reworked. The platform was changed from vBulletin to Telligent. Your issue was one of the problems that just went away.

This doesn’t seem to be the case for me when I go to Profile and edit (https://forums.garmin.com/) It would be nice to be able to change the Display namre.

The instruction works just like in seilogramp's post.

Browse to your profile: https://forums.garmin.com/members/arturus

Click Edit profile.

Change your username in the textbox.

Click Save profile.

Even though this is now editable from Edit Profile, my first instinct was to got to Settings to update my user name. Even when I knew to edit this as part of the profile, the "Edit Profile" button was almost invisible to me.
