  • And badges! Not ok that people can earn more points if they pay. Nothing special with those badges to be behind paywall. Is all badges going behind paywall soon?  Really bad. Next watch is not a garmin. Shame that i just bought Fenix 8 51 mm two weeks ago. My return period ended today. I would return it if i could

  • They didn't listen about the Connect 5.0 update which was the beginning of this. The changes made to the app then made it prime for a premium version. Anyone who looked at it logically then could see this coming. The way they removed so much of the customization and limited what users could put on their dashboards, how they decimated the web version with that update, this was always going to happen. They just started out slowly getting users warmed up to the idea by introducing the premium watch faces.

  • Yes i think you are right

  • We understand that the added features of Garmin Connect+ will not be for everyone which is why we have opened up a 30 day trial for all users to make an informed decision on whether or not they would like to pay for the added functionality. Information on signing up for this trial can be found here

For any users concerned with losing access to their existing features, I would direct you to the above link which outlines a comparison of features between standard Garmin Connect and Garmin Connect+, but also the announcement available here where we state that existing free features that users are accustomed to will remain free.
