Merging Activities

I would like to have the possibility to merge 2 activities.

I've hit the wrong button doing flip turns and then I have 2 or 3 files for a swim instead of one continuous file. I too would prefer a merge button!

attach the files that need merging in a reply to this message and I will merge them using the Fit File Repair Tool.

During my last tour, I had to restart my Edge 820. Now I have two activities. Can I connect them to an activity using Garmin connect?

I am having issues with trying to merge my runs. I have the files in GPX or TCX format, which this fit file program doesn't seem to like at all. I have tried multiple other programs, but can't get any of them to work while preserving the splits in my run. Any suggestions?
