Merging Activities

I would like to have the possibility to merge 2 activities.

Not in Garmin Connect. There are external tools available. Try https://www.fitfiletools.com/#/top

huskiesfan66 - you will be wanting the .fit files if you want to preserve your splits. If you still have the .fit files that you want to merge then attach them in a reply to this post and I will see what I can do using the Fit File Repair Tool.

I would like to add my voice to the call to urge Garmin developers to add a merge of activities into their software. Will anybody from Garmin respond?

If you write them, perhaps, though I rather doubt it. Anyway, they will not answer here, on the user forum, that's practically certain.

BTW, probably currenty the best way for merging two activities, is merging the FIT files, because they include all details , unlike the GPX or the TCX files. You can do it for example with the File Combiner of the FT File Tools

This is even more important now that smart trainers and virtual rides that post to garmin with some of but not all the data and the rest is in your garmin device recorded activity. We desperately need to be able to merge activities.

Please Garmin it must be one of your most requested features.

Suggest submitting your request using the form - Share Ideas | Garmin

If you have some now that you would like merged, I or someone can do that for you if you want to zip and attach here.
