Menu options missing left side of home page on Connect website.

Drop down option on android not showing any options and website blank on left side of page currently.

  • Joined to ongoing main thread. Holding down Ctrl + Shift + R fixed it for me and the issue has not returned.

  • Just to add another data point, I saw this problem with Chrome a few days ago, but it doesn't happen to me anymore.

Maybe Garmin fixed something on their end (at least for some users).

    EDIT (March 14)

This actually started happening to me again (intermittently). Clearly I was wrong and Garmin didn't fix anything for anyone.

  • Yes.  I have cleared my cache.  I've tried the control shift R and all yield the same result.  Nothing.  Garmin must have pushed an update last week sometime which caused this and they need to figure it out and fix it.  I didn't use the webpage until the weekend but it was working fine the previous weekend.  I check my weekly mileage on the calendar and also my progress towards my monthly and yearly goal every weekend.

  • The menu bar on the left side of garmin connect is just black--no categories to click on. This also happened a few days ago but then returned. Now it's dark again.

    Any solution or workaround?

    Thanks.

  • I use Firefox, and when I change the security setting between "Standard" and "Strict", the menu appears or disappears, resp. But it's not always. So I'm not sure if this is really the problem. But at least it can be used as a workaround.

EDIT: And the same behavior applies to Chrome:
Settings > Security > Security > Standard (menu appears) or Advanced Safe Browsing (menu disappears)

EDIT2: And of course the website has to be reloaded after changing the setting.

  • Your suggestion for Chrome worked for me too... well, switching it to advanced seemed to fix it, and then when I went back to standard it was still fine. Maybe it just needed to be toggled to break it free from this odd behavior. Anyhow, thanks!

  • Thanks - that worked for me!

  • Try clearng the Cache by using Ctrl + Shft + R  . it worked for me.

  • I have to Ctrrl-shift-R mukltiple times while in the site. I guess this is a new permenant FEATURE? Great!

  • thank you.  that worked for me on firefox on windows 10.
