Can no longer export from Garmin Connect to gpx

For many years I have been exporting my completed cycle rides from Garmin Connect to gpx files, using Windows 11. Over the last few weeks I have been unable to do this. I know that I can export to fit files, load into mapping software and then export to gpx but that is a lengthy solution.

I have used the exported gpx files as proof of passage for my Audax DIY rides, showing that the solution of exporting direct from Garmin Connect has been successful.

Is anyone else having the same difficulty?

It still works without problems for me. Perhaps you just have to wait a few seconds or up to a minute or two, at huge tracks and slow connection. You can also try a different browser, or a different device…

You can also try a different browser, or a different device. And if it does not help, you can use the option Save as Course, and then export the course as GPX - it is a rather quick and simple way to do it too, without having to use any external tools

It doesn't work for me either. I can export the course to GPX, but I can't export the activity in the same way.

Just found out that it does not work for me either, using still the same device, browser, last time I know it worked for sure was 15.2.2025. Tried different browser but it did not help.Saving as course and then exporting works, but why make it more complicated?

I just tried this on the cycling activity (with GPS of course) I did yesterday using Connect web.

Exported the activity to GPX and then uploaded it to BaseCamp to see the results. Perfect. No problem.

W10 and Firefox latest versions/updates.

OK, as I am coincidentally using W10 and Firefox with latest updates too, just tried it again to be supersure and ... magically now it works. And I swear that 2 hours ago I tried it multiple times. Anyway, thanks for the response, I am happy to be able to use the export again :-)
