I managed to dowload aactivity from mywhoosh (*.fit) and all data appears in garmin connect but theses datas are not used to follow VO2 FTP and others. Before i use ZWIFT and all were ok why?
from what i recollect, only Garmin (or Tacx) tracked activities count towards vo2 and all related metrics, as calc occurs on spot on device. so whoosh won't do this for you.
i did whoosh but tracked activity (indoor bike) on my watch, with connected trainer and hrm and this way i got proper matrics. since tacx is integrated with garmin, that's another working option and probably edge would work too for vo2 (don't own it so can't confirm). so in short, only native garmin solution can add vo2 to your profile.
I know this is kinda old... and I have not used MyWoosh but... have you tried downloading the fit file and using FIT File Tools and using the device changer? If you change the device to one of the edge units I believe it will work. Garmin should treat the workout as coming from a garmin device and it will contribute to your VO2, FTP, etc
The last time I used mywoosh was alread some weeks ago (so I hope nothing has changed)
- downloaded the fit file from mywoosh webpage / account page
- Go to the Import page on the webpage of garmin connect with the icon on the top right bar (could not make it work via connect app)
- Select the fit file where ever you saved it and press import
That works for you but is not shown in garmin connect? If so I unfortunatley cannot help you further.
